original, was typed written and does have two (2) signatures from
Harriet Houghton, along with her initials. Also note, that the name of
Luella Moland Breshears is misspelled in the will. The date of eleventh
day of May was hand written above the crossed out date twenty-second day
of April. Harriet Houghton's initials do appear at the left of this
paragraph.)

I, HARRIET
HOUGHTON, (Unmarried), of the City of Bradford, County of McKean and
State of Pennsylvania, do hereby make my Last Will and Testament, and
revoke all Wills by me at any time heretofore made:
FIRST: I direct and order that all of my estate,
including my homestead property locate and being in the City of
Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania, and known as Number Fifty One
(51) Interstate Parkway, be converted into money as soon as the same can
conveniently be done after my decease; and for this purpose, I do hereby
authorize and empower my Executor, hereinafter named, to sell and
dispose of my said homestead property, without asking leave of Court,
for the best price that can be obtained for the same, and by proper
deed, to be duly executed and acknowledged by my Executor, to grant and
convey the same to the purchaser thereof, without any obligation on the
latter to see to the application of the purchase money; and when my
Estate shall be converted into money, I order and direct my Executor to
use the money as follows:
First: For the payment of my debts, funeral expense, expenses of
administration of my Estate and inheritance or transfer tax.
Second: To pay to my
sister-in-law, Marion Houghton, if she be alive at the time of my death,
the sum of One Hundred Dollars.
Third: To pay to the
Methodist Home for Children at Williamsville, New York, one-tenth (1/10)
of the remainder of my Estate to be used as they deem fit.
Fourth: To pay to my nephew,
Frank M. Houghton, one-quarter of the remainder thereof in return for
his many kind acts and for acting as Executor and Trustee of my Will.

Fifth: To pay to my nephew, Frank M. Houghton, Trustee, the remaining
three-quarters of my said Estate to be held by him in Trust for the
purpose of paying therefrom an equal one-third thereof for the medical,
dental, illness and burial expense of each of the following: my nephew,
Perry Gale Houghton, my niece, Luella Molan Breshers and by nephew,
Glenn James Hutchinson. It being my intention that my said Trustee shall
spend the full one-third of said remainder for the care or burial of
each of my said relatives in each case.
I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my nephew,
Frank M. Houghton, Executor of this, my will.
IN TESTIMONY Whereof, I, HARRIET HOUGHTON, the
testatrix have this, my will, typewritten on two sheets of paper set my
hand and seal this eleventh day of May, A.D. one thousand nine hundred
and forty-eight (1948).
